Our NYC Stay-at-home Dads Group featured on Fox News today
Today, our dads group was featured on Fox Cable News channel on a segment titled "No more Mr. Mom - Shattering the Stereotypes." I thought we demonstrated being an at-home-dad to be exactly what it is - a positive experience, rewarding, fun, and cool! How cool is it to get to spend quality time everyday with your child!

ReplyDeleteThe introduction was a little patronising but the article itself was nicely balanced. I confess I'm a convert already (my husband is a full time Dad) but I thought it did portray being a stay at home Dad as a very cool thing. And it was good that one of the anchors (a bloke) responded so positively, even joking that the other guy couldn't hack it. He obviously knows what it entails! Just wish there was something similar going on here in Wellington, New Zealand.
