Catch All of the Moments - Flip MinoHD

Being a stay at home dad is a job that carries a lot of expectations from my wife! For example, every day I am "expected" to forward her at least 3 pictures from my picture phone, so she can see what is going on with our son during the day (i.e. - what is she missing). It took me a while to get this routine down of remembering to send pictures, but I have been fairly successful. This is in addition to the 20 or so pictures that I am "expected" to take with our digital camera.

Additionally, we have a small, Sony HandyCam, to video record all of the memories and small moments of progress that our son goes through. The problem with the HandyCam, as some of you know, is that it's usually not "right there" when something important happens. Missed opportunity! I was not accepting the video recording as another daily "expectaton" from my wife...so we made a $219 investment/compromise.

Now, I carry my new high tech toy in my pocket, so I capture all of those important moments like when my son started clapping his hands the other day. The Flip allows me to quickly upload video footage to my computer, combine 3 or 4 videos into a mini-movie, add background music, and share with my family frequently - so everyone is satisfied.
