New York City has to be one of the most amazing cities in the world for parents and children. There is so much to offer. Consequently, one would think that there would be an abundance of activities, events, and resources specifically geared towards fathers who want to spend quality time with their children. Sadly, that is not the case. The good news is that slowly but surely, more parenting venues, family friendly places, and community organizations are considering fathers in their equation (business model?) and therefore becoming more "dad friendly."
So, I was pleasantly surprised to see Ellen Schmidt's (of Baby Meets City) brief piece on the CBS New York site about NYC Daddy & Me Activities that received a dad-friendly "stamp of approval" from her husband - not sure if I am more excited about the activities on his list (including B.Y.O.K at 92Y Tribeca) or the fact that someone in the media took the time to document this for the public.
